Are you a fan of Lemon-Lime Gatorade but looking for something a little less healthy and with more of a kick? Then this Lemon-Lime Gatorade shot recipe is the perfect recipe to try. It’s a Copycat recipe which means there is no Gatorade, but it tastes just like the sports energy drink.
It’s super simple to make and only has four ingredients. This is actually the one Gatorade recipe that includes whisky, they usually use vodka so it is an interesting mix.
And if for some reason you’d rather have a purple or grape Gatorade recipe, then check out the link!
- 2 ounces of Jameson
- 1 ounce Madori
- 1 ounce of Lime Juice
- 1/4 ounce Simple Syrup
- Add some Ice to a Shaker
- Add the four ingredients to the shaker
- Cover shaker and shake for about ten seconds
- Grab a strainer and strain into yur shot glass
- Drink and enjoy!
There is no garnish for this, but you could use a lemon or lime slice or wheel if you want one.
How to Make This?
Grab a cocktail shaker and a strainer, and then fill the shaker with a handful of ice. You’re making a shot, so the ice is just to cool off the ingredients so no need to fill the shaker to the top.
Add your whiskey, Midori, lime juice and a bit of simple syrup. Mix for ten seconds and pour into the shot glass. That’s it! Enjoy!
