The Best Jello Shot Syringes for Any Party Theme!
Jell-O shot syringes are great when you want to mix things up as far as jello shot containers go. Of course you can stick with the trusty jello shot cup, but sometimes you just want something more.
These things are pretty cool. And they make a great complement to any college or Halloween party. Just add some red Jello using your favorite Jello shot recipe and you have a syringe of yummy blood. Or maybe you want to use lime colored Jell-O since after doing a few of the shots, you’re probably going to feel like the Hulk. You can simply match the colors to any themed party. Maybe a red, white and blue layered shot for July fourth.
And you don’t need to make them with alcohol, they can be just a fun way for your kids to enjoy Jello or even pudding. You can pretty much add whatever you want to these.
So what makes a syringe the best? For my reviews, I look at build quality, ease of use, ease of ejection, and ease of cleaning. And of course I also look at cost.
As far as quality, you can go the cheap route if you’re only looking to use these once, or maybe giving them away to the kids as trick-or-treat handouts. As long as it works once, why absorb the extra cost?
On the other hand, if you want to re-use them, then you’ll need something that is solid and can stand up to being used and washed repeatedly.
Here are a few things to look for…

Not too long ago there were only a few manufacturers making these. Now there are a bunch so the prices are very reasonable. And they come in packs of 10 to 400! And the more you get, the cheaper they cost per unit.
I like this combo kit because both the syringes and the stand are decently made, should last a while and are made from food grade safe materials. If you’re looking to re-use these, then these are the ones you want even though these aren’t quite as cheap as the ones below.
Most other manufacturers don’t include a stand. So if you really need the stand, this is definitely the best choice.
Each syringe holds 1.5 ounces which is a decent size. And you can also get other sizes as well up 2.5 oz. The price difference is pretty small.
One thing to mention about this company is that they also sell their stands separately. So if you have syringes from another seller, you can still just grab the stand and use theirs. You can get it here.
As far as value goes, these are priced close to a dollar per unit. So the 25 packs are going to be around $25. It depends on where you get them.
If you’re looking for the absolute cheapest option for your party syringe needs, then this no-name product it. This 50 pack of syringes costs around $30, which makes them only .60 cents each. A serious value and the ones to get if you’re looking to buy these in bulk.
They come in both 1.5 oz or 2 oz sizes.
These are 100% BPA free food grade plastic and are reusable. They’re easy enough to clean and you can throw these in a dishwasher.
A nifty little jello shot recipe book comes with your order in PDF format. There are 55 recipes. Nothing you can’t find online, but nice to have them all in one PDF.
I’m sure these are “Made in China”, as probably all of these are as I never noticed anything about being made else where, but even so, they are great value for the money.
No more leaking! These used to be good syringes, but they ended up leaking a lot oif your Jello got to warm. Now the company has improved their product by adding a black rubber stopper to eliminate the possibility of the syringes from leaking and making a mess!
The sizing has also changed. Now all of the shots equal 2 ounces rather than the old 1.5.
Also, like the above review, this company also includes an ebook with their syringes. But rather than just Jell-o shot recipes, they have included a bunch of other drinks as well. It’s a nice little book, but isn’t going to replace your Bartender’s Guide.
These are also reusable and dishwasher safe. They come with lids and a rubber plunger so there’s good vacuum to suck up liquids, and good pressure to shoot them back out.
This company also offers a 100% money back guarantee even if you don’t get these through Amazon. And at around $30 for 50 syringes, this is a good buy.
And that’s all I have to say about that 😉
After all, there aren’t many models of these, and I’ve written about the three best jello shot syringes for any occasion or event. These things are fun and just something different to your normal shots or containers. No, they aren’t exactly an “Upscale Drinks“, but they’re meant to be fun, not all that serious!
And like I said before, you don’t need to include alcohol in your recipes, nor just use them for adults. Kids will definitely like these as well.
And a quick tip, two actually… If you want to get your syringes back from your guests, the easiest way is to have an empty bowl next to them. Also, don’t feel like cleaning up? Just put a bowl of water out and let the kids use them as squirt guns!
